Pittsburgh Basketball Report was founded by Coach Steve Brodzinski in June of 2010. It is his goal, to promote high
school basketball in the greater Pittsburgh area. His goal is to also provide unbiased news, information, and rankings on
boys high school basketball in the greater Pittsburgh area.
Coach Brodzinski's background includes experience as a player or coach at almost every level of basketball. He played
at the Division 3 level, and has coached at the Division 1, Division 2, High School, and Prep School levels. His network
includes friends in many different areas of high school and college basketball. These connections have provided
immediate legitimacy to Pittsburgh Basketball Report, which is now a constant news source for hundreds of college
coaches nationwide.
Having received a journalism degree from New York University, Coach Brodzinski's writings have been published on
basketball websites such as SLAM, Hoop Connection, and Crown Magazine. He is a basketball analyst for the
Rivals.com affiliate website PAPreps.com, and currently performs weekly high school basketball updates on 93.7fm The
